Puppies Born May 2023

Eight Weeks Old

This is it! We are going home! We are happy resilient dogs and excited to be with our families.

Seven Weeks Old

We are convinced we are big dogs. We are eating only kibble and giving Ginger some much needed rest. We have our routine and nearly have house training down. We are learning basic obedience now.  Every day we experience something new, grow our confidence and expand our worlds.

Six Weeks Old

We are learning to be big dogs. We have learned that outside is the best side. We are getting faster and stronger every day. We can go up and down stairs on our own. Ginger has also been teaching us how to play like big dogs. And the big news... we got to try our first bird wing and we love it! Hopefully we will get to see a real bird soon.

Five Weeks Old

We are still growing and learning new things. Puppy food is delicious and the clover yard is the best. We all have forever homes and are excited to meet our new families in a few weeks.

Four Weeks Old

This week was another week of new lessons and new adventures.  We have began our house training and even got to start trying some delicious puppy mash.   Puppy mash must be good since Mom (Ginger) and Uncle Slurpee have now requested it for their dinners too.

Three Weeks Old

With eyes wide open and steady legs today we once again went on an outside adventure.   This week we got to meet our Uncle Slurpee (our English Setter).  We are learning to get our nails trimmed, ears cleaned and "teeth" brushed.  We have even started our house training.  This bunch is super smart.

Two Weeks Old

Growing like weeds. Eyes open and ears starting to open. Will be able to meet new people and dogs soon. All cuddles for Ginger, each other and those who hold them. Lots of drive in this crowd already!

First Days

Puppies don't open their eyes and ears until they are 2-3 weeks old. They are little heat seeking machines. They find Ginger and each other through pure innate need for food and comfort. They are only handled a few minutes a day to make sure they are gaining weight as expected.
